3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />The Board recognized Mr. Kevin 0. Butler, Commission Legal Counsel, <br />who had consented to serve as Temporary Chairman for the election <br />of officers. Nominations and seconds were requested for each of the <br />following offices: <br />1)I PRESIDENT: <br />Mr. Robinson nominated Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, to serve as President <br />of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. Motion was seconded <br />by Mr. Donaldson. <br />The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There being <br />none, he requested a motion that the nominations be closed. <br />Mr. Robinson moved that the nominations be closed. Motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Donaldson. The "ayes" were unanimous to <br />elect Mr. Nimtz as the President of the Commission. Motion <br />carried. <br />2)I VICE PRESIDENT: <br />Mr. Donaldson nominated Mr. Lloyd E. Robinson, Sr., to serve <br />as Vice President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />Motion was seconded by Mr. Nimtz. <br />The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There <br />being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be <br />closed. <br />Mr. Donaldson moved that the nominations be closed. Motion was <br />carried by Mr. Nimtz. The "ayes" were unanimous to elect <br />Mr. Lloyd E. Robinson, Sr., as the Vice President of the <br />Commission. Motion carried. <br />3)I SECRETARY: <br />Mr. Nimtz nominated Mr. A. Peter Donaldson, to serve as Secretary <br />of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. Motion was seconded <br />by Mr. Robinson. <br />The Chair asked if there were any other nominations. There <br />being none, he requested a motion that the nominations be closed. <br />Mr. Nimtz moved that the nominations be closed. Motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Robinson.
