Commission approval requested for Change Order #7, Slatile R R-in and Sheet Metal Co., Inc.. for an increase of $250.00 fir an amended contract t0tal of 42,902:005 at the address o T18 S. Fellows, South Bond,, Indiana, as set forth in'Inter O fice Demo, dated August 305 1978, from'Mr: Janes Harcus, D rector of Bureau of Housing. Original specifications called for the paneling of the upper half of kitchen walls. The lower half had plastic tile with three or four pieces missing which homeowner assured he could replace from extra squares in his possession. Upon arrival at s te, contractor discovered that tile squares had continued to pop since time of initial inspection. The condition was such that estimate to extend panelling over the lower half was requested. Mr. Wiggins moved for approval of Change Order #7, with Slatile Roofing and Sheet Metal Co., Inc., for an increase of $250.00, s conded by Mr. Cira, and the motion was unanimously carried. 7. PROGRESS REPORTS Mr. B ownell stated that we had placed $200,000 worth of bond money at 7. 5% with the National Bank & Trust Company. Mr. Edison mentioned that Mayor Nemeth had signed the "grant. agreement" for the "hole" project, the downtown multi -use project, depending on what name one wishes to give it. The Commission should be aware that a signed grant agreement essentially means that the City starts a 180 -day process durin which the project comes together or it doesn't. Obviously, there is every expectation that the project will come together, and t at in fact, it will be under construction by next spring. 8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING The n xt commission meeting is scheduled to be held on Septe ber 15, 1978. 9. ADJOURNMENT On motion duly made and passed by Mr. Wiggins, the meeting adjou ned at 10:18 A.M.
