Description of Vacation of a 14' Wide Alley
<br /> A parcel of land located in the Northwest Quarter (NW %a) of Section Thirteen (13),
<br /> Township Thirty-Seven (37) North, Two (02) East and all being in Portage Township,
<br /> City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana and as shown on the following
<br /> subdivision plats: Joseph Keasey Plat, Book 2, Page 69 and Adam S. Baker's 1st
<br /> Addition to the City of South Bend, Book 4, Page 35, said parcel being a 14.0 foot
<br /> wide public alley and being 7.0 feet each side of the following described centerline:
<br /> Commencing at the intersection of the east right-of-way line of a public street now
<br /> known as Michigan Street and the south right-of-way line of a public street now known
<br /> as Keasey Street; said point of intersection also being the northwest corner of Lot No.
<br /> 3 as shown on Joseph Keasey's Plat, Book 2, Page 69 in the Office of the Recorder
<br /> of St. Joseph County; thence east, along the south right-of-way line of said Keasey
<br /> Street, a distance of 544.0 feet, more or less, to the centerline of a fourteen foot (14')
<br /> wide alley and also being the Point of Beginning of this description; thence south,
<br /> along the centerline of said fourteen foot (14') wide alley, a distance of 113.0 feet,
<br /> more or less, to a point on the north line of a 10 foot wide public alley, as shown on
<br /> the Map of Elder Place, Book 5, Page 13, in the Office of the St. Joseph County
<br /> Recorder and also being the Point of Terminus of this description.

<br /> A parcel of land located in the Northwest Quarter (NW ' ) of Section Thirteen (13),
<br /> Township Thirty-Seven (37) North, Range Two (02) East and all being in Portage
<br /> Township, City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana and as shown on the Plat
<br /> of Hutchin's Addition to the City of South Bend, Book 2, Page 67 in the Office of the
<br /> Recorder of St. Joseph County, said parcel being a 26.0 foot wide public way and
<br /> being 13.0 feet each side of the following described centerline:
<br /> Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot "L" of Elder Place, Book 5, Page 13, said
<br /> corner being at the intersection of the west right-of-way line of a public street now
<br /> known as Carroll Street and the north right-of-way line of vacated Elder Street; thence
<br /> north, along the west right-of-way line of said Carroll Street, a distance of 136.0 feet to
<br /> the centerline of a 26.0 foot wide public way, as shown on said plat of Hutchin's
<br /> Addition, and being the Point of Beginning of this centerline description; thence west,
<br /> along the centerline of said 26.0 foot wide public way, a distance of 116.0 feet to a
<br /> point on the east line of a 24.0 foot wide public way and also being the Point of
<br /> Terminus of this description.

<br /> A parcel of land located in the Northwest Quarter (NW ' ) of Section Thirteen (13),
<br /> Township Thirty-Seven (37) North, Range Two (02) East and all being in Portage
<br /> Township, City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana; said parcel being a 24.0
<br /> foot wide public way and being 12.0 feet each side of the following described
<br /> centerline:
<br /> Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 25 of Joseph Keasey Plat, Book 2, Page
<br /> 69 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, said corner being a point on the
<br /> south right-of-way line of Keasey Street; thence east, along the south right-of-way line
<br /> of said Keasey Street, a distance of 12.0 feet to the centerline of said 24.0 foot wide
<br /> public way and also being the Point of Beginning of this centerline description; thence
