South Bond Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - October 7, 1977 <br />Mr. Nim z took a moment to explain that this was the last meeting Mr. Keith <br />Crightor would be attending. He said "The chair would like to say that <br />althoug we have had our differences, and you have been on the "hot seat" <br />from us many times, now you are on the seat for the contractors and house holders, <br />the Chair thinks you have done a terrific job as a public servant. We have <br />had no criticism that I know of. Mr. Wiggins has been a member of the Commission <br />for man years, and there has been no criticism of your performance and your <br />fairness, and your conscientious work in this position. All I can do is direct <br />Mr. Wig ins to prepare a resolution to put on the record. Seriously, we <br />wish YOL well in your new position, and I do sincerely want to say that I think <br />you have done a terrific job, and you have had a very difficult position." <br />Mr. Keith Crighton: "Thank you very much. I appreciate your sentiments, and my <br />hope is that the Bureau of Housing will continue along the present vein. We <br />have just completed our third most successful year, and it looks like the <br />lines of neighborhood preservation are in such a state that we look for a much <br />better future." Mr. Wiggins: "I feel Mr. Crighton has done an excellent job <br />and is to be commended, and I wish him well in his new venture." "Thank you" said <br />Mr. Crighton. Mr. Brownell said: "I would like to say that we have had good <br />cooperation between the departments and with your staff. I have enjoyed the <br />work, and I wish you well." <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT'D <br />o. Brownell read a letter containing Applicant Up -date Sheet and <br />he Change Order Accounting Sheet, approved by the Redevelopment <br />ommission during the month of September, from Bureau of Housing South, <br />ated October 3, 1977. It was received and placed on file. <br />b. ehabilitation continues in Northeast Project (September 28, 1977). <br />wenty -two homes are being rehabilitated, applicants are being <br />rocessed and additional contracts are forthcoming, per information <br />From Northeast Bureau of Housing.
