5.
RE
OLD BUSINESS, Continued
b. Elimination of Labor Standards Provision, Rehabilitation
Contracts, report by Keith Crighton tabled for further
study in Commission meetings of May 6 and May 20th, 1977
adjourned until June 17, 1977, for consideration by the
membership of the full commission. Mr. Brownell said
"Unfortunately, we have the same number of commissioners
this morning that we had last time (3) because
Mr. Donaldson is on vacation, and Mr. Cira had to attend
a funeral, I don't know what your pleasure is." Mr. Nimtz
directed that this item be placed on agenda for the next
meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
a. Change Order No. 1 to Contract NECD /PR /CS -1/05 to increase
amount of the contract by $495.00 for an amended contract
total of $7,327.00 per recommendation of the Chief Inspector,
Richard E. Pfeifer, Bureau of Housing, North. Mr. Pfeifer
stated the items being added were previously cut off because
the estimated cost was too high to comply with maximum cost
under the guide lines. After the contract was bid they found
they could add these needed items and delete the combination
windows in the basement and stay within the guide line
maximum limit. The items being added are windows and screens
totalling $615.00 and deleting combination windows in the basement
totalling $120.00 for a net increase of $495.00. Upon motion of
Mr. Robinson, seconded by Mr. Wiggins the motion to approve was
carried.
b. Change Order No. 1 to Contract #SECD /PR /CS -6/48. This change
order was passed upon at the last commission meeting and, there-
fore, this item was ordered stricken from the agenda as no action
was necessary.
c. Commission approval requested for a 312 Loan application for
the following: Lewis and Jacklyn Lough in the amount of
$10,250, Loan #18 /MC- 11/1/1 -77. This statement was included
in commissioner's packet from Keith Crighton, who was present,
and being submitted for review and approval of application for
Section 312 Loan in the amount of $10,250.00 to Lewis and
Jacklyn Lough from 912 East Clavert. Mr. Brownell said "Is this
the correct spelling, "and Mr. Crighton mentioned that Calvert was
the correct spelling and that it was noted as Clavert on the paper
located in South Bend, Indiana in the project area noted above.
Mr. Wiggins moved for the approval and Mr. Robinson seconded,
and the motion was carried and approved.
4
