IChange Order No. 01 to Contract SECD /HR /CS -2/18 through 2/53, <br />n the Southeast Community Development Housing Program: Commis - <br />ion approval was requested of Change Order No. 01 to Contract <br />ECD /HR /CS -2/18 through 2/53, with Charles Brown Maintenance <br />ervice, for a decrease in contract amount of $1,209.00, for <br />n amended contract total of $13,894.00, in the Southeast Com- <br />unity Development Housing Program. <br />CHANGE ORDER <br />01 TO CONTRACT <br />SECD /HR /CS <br />2/18 THRU <br />2/53 APPROVED, <br />SECD HOUSING <br />PROGRAM <br />r. Kenneth J. Schaller, Project Director, advised this is Contract <br />et #02, in the Elderly and Handicapped Housing Allowance Referral <br />rogram, in the Bureau of Housing. As stated in the memorandum <br />rom Mr. James J. Johnson, Jr., Chief Inspector, nine (9) structures <br />re being deleted from this Contract. The homeowners on the major - <br />ty of these deleted structures have made the appropriate correc- <br />ions listed on the Inspector's Observation themselves. Several <br />omeowners' status have changed since their initial application <br />nd were either disqualified from the Housing Allowance Program <br />r are now receiving subsidies from the Housing Allowance Program. <br />he addition for house #26 is requested in order to bring the electri- <br />al system up to minimum code. The Housing Allowance Program Unit <br />efective Checklist specifies the electrical system is not adequate <br />ut does not list the system as a major defect which would prevent <br />he homeowner from receiving Housing Allowance. However, the outlets <br />equested to be installed by the checklist cannot be installed be- <br />ause of the capacity of the present electrical system. The total <br />ost for this house increases by $1,165.00 to a total of $1,654.00. <br />he addition for house #51 reflects the quality control evaluation <br />ccomplished by the Housing Allowance Program on September 15, 1976. <br />he contractor, in estimating the work to be accomplished, also <br />rought to the attention of this office the fact that the water <br />loset needs to be replaced.
