PROGRESS REPORTS <br />a. <br />River Bend Plaza Schedule: A copy of the schedule for RIVER BEND <br />the Ethnic Festival activities, for June 4th through the 6th, PLAZA <br />were distributed prior to the meeting to everyone. SCHEDULE, <br />R -66 <br />President Nimtz reported Mr. Louis N. Wilcox, Director of the <br />River Bend Plaza Office, is not present at this meeting as he is <br />working on the Plaza making the necessary preparations for the <br />planned festivities. <br />The Chair also complimented Ms. Jeanne Derbeck, Reporter for <br />The South Bend Tribune,on the various articles concerning the <br />activities on the River Bend Plaza. She is doing an excellent <br />job in keeping the public informed. A'full week of activities <br />are planned. <br />b.1 Staff Reports: <br />1) Acquisition Status Report: Mr. William J. Parrish, Real ACQUISITION <br />Estate Officer, submitted a written report on the follow- STATUS RE- <br />ing projects: PORT, R -57, <br />R -66, MERRY <br />R -57: Remains the same- -one remaining to be acquired. AVENUE & <br />382 Parcels purchased, 18 Condemnation Cases, A -10 <br />totalling 400. <br />R -66: Three (3) remains to be acquired. 228 Parcels <br />purchased, 1 Condemnation Case, totalling 229. <br />Merry Avenue: Purchases completed. 40 Parcels purchased, <br />2 Condemnation Cases, totalling 42. <br />NDP A -10: All parcels acquired. <br />MN - #1: 34 Parcels purchased, 1 Condemnation Case, <br />totalling 35. <br />SE #1: 62 Parcels purchased, 8 Condemnation Cases, <br />totalling 70. <br />2) Relocation Progress Report: The Relocation Staff submitted RELOCATION <br />a written report, for the month of June, 1975: PROGRESS <br />REPORT <br />NDP A -10, SE #1: Workload four (4) families, three (3) <br />individuals. <br />Model Cities Extended Services Workload three (3) fami- <br />lies. One family is in the process of purchasing <br />a home. The remaining two families are in the <br />process of selecting homes. <br />E -7 NDP: Workload two (2) families.
