6. NEW BUSINESS'(Cont'd <br />of New York and Salomon Brothers of New York, with an interest <br />rate of 3.63% and premium of $661.00, per HUD Regional Office <br />approval and award. The maturity date is.: June 11, 1976. <br />The Notice of Sale was published in The Daily Bond Buyer, on <br />May 6, 1975, and in The South Bend Tribune, on April 29 and <br />May 6, 1975. <br />A master resolution (Resolution No. 281) authorizes the sale, <br />issuance and delivery of project notes and the execution of <br />requisition agreements, for Project Indiana R -66 <br />The Project Notes and the requisition agreements were received <br />in this morning's mail for execution and return to the Regional <br />Office by Friday, May 30, 1975. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Wiggins that the award be made to the <br />low bidder, Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York and Salomon <br />Brothers of New York, as noted above, seconded by Mr. Wade and <br />carried. <br />c Disposition Parcel No. 6 -1, R -66: Commission authorization was <br />ADVERTISING <br />requested to place legal advertisement for bids for the sale <br />APPROVED TO <br />of Disposition Parcel No. 6-1; also setting of the minimum <br />RECEIVE BIDS <br />accepted bid price for said parcel, Project Indiana R -66. <br />FOR SALE OF <br />DISPOSITION <br />Mr. Brownell advised this is for the 16.3 acres along the St. <br />PARCEL NO. <br />Joseph River, R -66, which has been discussed with a number of <br />6 -1, R -66 <br />prospective bidders, and we also have a prospective bidder <br />who is interested but would require a change in the land use. <br />At this point, we are requesting authorization to advertise <br />for bids for this parcel to find out what bids we may receive <br />on the present land use before changing the land use for <br />the prospective bidder who would require the change. The <br />Plaza Park is alongside the river and this land is next to <br />the Park area that is being awarded this morning. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Wiggins to authorize the legal adver- <br />tising to receive bids for the sale of Disposition Parcel No. <br />6 -1, seconded by Mr. Wade and carried. <br />Legal Counsel requested a motion authorizing the minimum bid MINIMUM BID <br />price, which is $645,808.00, with an approximate square feet PRICE ACCEPT - <br />area of 713,600, with reuse value per square foot of $.905, ABLE: <br />with use of Service Commercial /Residential for Disposition $645,808.00 <br />Parcel No. 6 -1, R -66. Motion made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded <br />by Mr. Wade and carried. <br />
