HUD letter dated March 25, 1975: This letter, over the ONE HOUR <br />signature of Mr. Albert G. Smith, Acting Director, Com- MARTINIZING, <br />munity Planning and Development Division, advises they INC., PARCEL <br />are returning our claim for relocation payment concurrence 10, R -66 <br />request for One Hour Martinizing, Inc., Parcel 10, Project <br />Indiana R -66, pending additional information. <br />They advise they have no record of a request for HUD con- <br />currence prior to our filing the claim on December 24, <br />1974. Since the claim exceeded $10,000.00, concurrence <br />from HUD was required before payment in whole or in part <br />could be made. (Relocation Handbook 1370.1, Chg. 1, <br />Chapter 6, Section 5, Paragraph 91). HUD is also request- <br />ing if a waiver of the six -month time limit was requested <br />and received. <br />The answers to the questions are requested, and if justi- <br />fiable reasons are not provided, per Mr. Smith, the claim <br />will have to be forwarded by the Area Office to the Re- <br />gional Office for concurrence. <br />Mr. Brownell advised staff is presently working on the <br />additional information required to get HUD approval. <br />HUD letter dated March 27, 1975: This letter, over the <br />HUD CONCURS <br />signature of Mr. Albert G. Smith, Acting Director, Com- <br />IN AWARD OF <br />munity Planning and Development, advises of HUD concur- <br />CONTRACT NO. 2 <br />rence in award of Contract No. 2 (Landscaping) to Robert <br />(LANDSCAPING), <br />Foegley Landscaping, in the amount of $26,323.75, Plaza <br />TO ROBERT <br />Park, Project Indiana R -66. Arrangements are to be made <br />FOEGLEY LAND - <br />with their office for the pre- construction conference. <br />SCAPING, PLAZA <br />PARK, R -66 <br />Mr. Smith also advises of HUD concurrence with our pro- <br />posal to re- advertise Contract No. 1, with the revised <br />bid forms and engineer's estimate. <br />- 3 - <br />
