2. fPPROVAL'OF'MINVTES (Cont'd <br />n Page 19, under "New Business, 6n, Commercial Lease," <br />etain the first paragraph, cancel Paragraph No. 2, and in <br />ieu thereof, substitute: <br />The President, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, indicated that be- <br />cause he is a member of the same law firm which re- <br />presents the South Bend Public Transportation Company, <br />that he will not take part in the consideration or <br />Redevelopment Commission action on this matter. Mr. <br />Butler, Commission Legal Counsel, had advised his <br />legal opinion is that there is no conflict of inter- <br />est. <br />Mr. Nimtz turned the meeting over to the Vice Presi- <br />dent, Mr. John E. Chenney, to chair this part of the <br />meeting. Following this discussion, the motion was <br />made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Rev. Williams, and <br />carried by a vote of four (4) "ayes" and one (1) <br />"abstention." <br />r. Wiggins made the motion for the approval of the Minutes <br />f the Special Meeting of December 13, 1974, held in lieu of <br />egular Meetings of December 6 and 20, 1974, with the stipu- <br />ation that the correction be inserted. Motion was seconded <br />y Mr. Chenney and carried. <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />r. Chenney made the motion for the approval and payment CLAIMS APPROVED <br />f the claims -- totalling $15,526.88. The motion was se- <br />onded by Mr. Wiggins and carried. The claims are: <br />.E.A.
