2. fPPROVAL'OF'MINVTES (Cont'd n Page 19, under "New Business, 6n, Commercial Lease," etain the first paragraph, cancel Paragraph No. 2, and in ieu thereof, substitute: The President, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, indicated that be- cause he is a member of the same law firm which re- presents the South Bend Public Transportation Company, that he will not take part in the consideration or Redevelopment Commission action on this matter. Mr. Butler, Commission Legal Counsel, had advised his legal opinion is that there is no conflict of inter- est. Mr. Nimtz turned the meeting over to the Vice Presi- dent, Mr. John E. Chenney, to chair this part of the meeting. Following this discussion, the motion was made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Rev. Williams, and carried by a vote of four (4) "ayes" and one (1) "abstention." r. Wiggins made the motion for the approval of the Minutes f the Special Meeting of December 13, 1974, held in lieu of egular Meetings of December 6 and 20, 1974, with the stipu- ation that the correction be inserted. Motion was seconded y Mr. Chenney and carried. 3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS r. Chenney made the motion for the approval and payment CLAIMS APPROVED f the claims -- totalling $15,526.88.
