Is this a possible avenue of complaint on <br />he part of the person who owns the house? If they are not <br />atisfied with the work progress, do they have a place to go? <br />r. Brownell advised we have an Advisory Committee all appointed <br />y the Mayor, and two members are from the neighborhood. We <br />ave an engineeer on the Committee, Mr. John Fisher; real estate <br />epresentative, Mr. Frank Horka; a banker, Mr. Forrest Miller; <br />nd two neighborhood representatives; the Housing Bureau Director, <br />r. Keigh Crighton; and the Redevelopment Director, presently <br />r. L. Kent Wilcox. <br />ommissioner Chenney asked if our man has any experience in con - <br />truction work? The retired carpenter is the inspector. <br />mmissioner Wade asked if they sign an agreement? Mr. Butler <br />vised the householder will not contract to do any of the work. <br />make the contract with the contractor specified in the speci- <br />cations and no other work. In the R -57 Project, the house - <br />lder hired the contractor to do the person's work. <br />ommissioner Wade asked what recourse we have if the homeowner <br />s unhappy? Mr. Brownell advised they go to the Advisory <br />ommittee first, then to staff, and then to the Redevelopment <br />ommission.
