6.' NEW BUSINESS (Cont'd) Contract No. 9, to: Madison Builders $5,000.00 1413 Marietta Avenue Contract No. 12, to: Madison Builders 5,000.00 612 East Keasey Street Contract No. 13, to: Madison Builders 4,075.00 409 East Haney Avenue Contract No. 14, to: Madison Builders 4,993.00 1107 S. Carroll Street On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and unanimously carried, the above contracts were awarded to Madison Builders, in the amounts specified, and the President and Secretary authorized to enter into said contracts, subject to Legal Counsel approval. 2) Commission approval to award the following contracts, for a grant total of $12,518.00, sub - ject to Legal Counsel - approval, and the President and Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission be authorized to enter into said con - tracts. The awards are subject to City Council approval, as they each exceed $5,000.00. Contract No. 17, to: Madison Builders $6,373.00 230 East Pennsylvania Avenue Contract No. 18, to: Madison Builders 6,145.00 735 East Broadway Street Mr. Brownell advised these have been approved by the Advisory Committee, need Commission approval and to City Council for their approval. On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and unanimously carried, the above two contracts were awarded to Madison Builders, in the amounts specified, and the President and Secretary of the South Bend Re- development Commission authorized to enter into said contracts, subject to Legal Counsel approval; and sub- mitted to City Council for their approval. 3) Commission rejection is requested on Contracts 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 16, and 19 through 42. No bids were received on Contracts 15, and 27 through 42. These will be re- advertised for bids. Some of these bids were either over $5,000 or no bids were received, per Mr. Brownell. On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and unanimously carried, the above were authorized for re- advertising.
