Williams, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and <br />unanimously carried, the above contracts were awarded <br />to Madison Builders, in the amounts specified, and <br />the President and Secretary authorized to enter into <br />said contracts, subject to Legal Counsel approval. <br />2) Commission approval to award the following <br />contracts, for a grant total of $12,518.00, sub - <br />ject to Legal Counsel - approval, and the President <br />and Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission be authorized to enter into said con - <br />tracts. The awards are subject to City Council <br />approval, as they each exceed $5,000.00. <br />Contract No. 17, to: Madison Builders $6,373.00 <br />230 East Pennsylvania Avenue <br />Contract No. 18, to: Madison Builders 6,145.00 <br />735 East Broadway Street <br />Mr. Brownell advised these have been approved by the <br />Advisory Committee, need Commission approval and to <br />City Council for their approval. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and <br />unanimously carried, the above two contracts were <br />awarded to Madison Builders, in the amounts specified, <br />and the President and Secretary of the South Bend Re- <br />development Commission authorized to enter into said <br />contracts, subject to Legal Counsel approval; and sub- <br />mitted to City Council for their approval. <br />3) Commission rejection is requested on Contracts <br />1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 16, and 19 through 42. <br />No bids were received on Contracts 15, and 27 <br />through 42. These will be re- advertised for <br />bids. <br />Some of these bids were either over $5,000 or <br />no bids were received, per Mr. Brownell. <br />On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wiggins <br />and unanimously carried, the above were authorized <br />for re- advertising. <br />
