TIONS AND /OR COMMENTS'`OR DISSERTATION FROM THE PUBLIC (Cont'd
tion grant and loan, when the inspectors made thier
inspection, they.told the resident that their house
was not worth fixing up, and now it has a "substandard"
sign posted on that house.
Mr. L. Kent Wilcox said that particular case was dis-
cussed in our 7:00 a.m, meeting this morning, and it
was not our inspectors that caused the Substandard
Division to condemn that house. We do not know who
did; Mr. Ellison is checking on that. We believe
it may have been some of the residents in the area.
We also were discussing the guidelines the Commission
set up and possibly helping this family out. We are
meeting with the Emergency Housing Division of The
Housing Authority. We did not cause this house to
be condemned.
President Nimtz thanked Mrs. Hernandez for the above
information, but said it appears that it is already
being acted on by our Mr. L. Kent Wilcox, Acting
Executive Director of the Department.
9.
