7. PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont'd) <br />Merry Avenue Project: <br />Mr. Lennon advised the only remaining occupant in the MERRY AVENUE <br />Project -- Madison Scott - -has been relocated and staff PROJECT <br />is issuing a Notice to Proceed, to the demolition con - <br />tractor - -B. & J. Demolition. That land should be cleared <br />and sold for industrial development use. <br />C. Southeast Side Housing Project, Indiana E -7: E -7 PROJECT <br />Mr. Lennon advised this has already been discussed in <br />the Public Hearing, "Old Business ", 5a. <br />d. Final Report from Staff on Status of Projects: <br />Mr. Lennon advised that he will be submitting to;the Com- PROJECT STATUS <br />missioners a status report on all projects, and what has to <br />be done between now, and, in the future, with Mr. L. Kent <br />Wilcox, as the Acting Executive Director. There will be <br />a specific report on relocation, and there will be a speci- <br />fic confidential report on the statement from Mr. C. Wayne <br />Brownell on disposition (which will not be made public; by <br />State law, we are not permitted to disclose that informa- <br />tion to the public as it obviously would affect the bidding <br />price, and that would be unfair). All the other reports <br />will be made public. Mr. Kent Wilcox will follow up on <br />the remaining items. <br />Relating to the reports, Ms. Derbeck asked when these <br />will be turned in, and Mr. Lennon advised that he had <br />asked his staff to have these ready for today's Com- <br />mission meeting- -his last day; however, some were not <br />completed by some of the staff members. <br />Mr. L. Kent Wilcox, as the Acting Executive Director, <br />stated that these reports will be in before the next <br />Redevelopment Commission meeting. <br />Staff Reports: <br />1) Business Relocation Report, R -66: <br />This written report, from Mr. John A. Kotzenmacher, BUSINESS RELOCATION <br />Director, Business Relocation Division, advised REPORT, R -66 <br />there were no relocation claims paid during the <br />month of August, 1974. <br />2) Property Management Report: <br />On this written report, Mr. John A. Kotzenmacher, <br />as Director, Property Management Division, advised: <br />R -66: Total receipts collected during month of <br />August were: $3,489.75. <br />
