NI
a,
0
I N ESS
BUSINESS
Continental Assurance Com any Retirement Plan: This
item was discussed in the previous session, with the
public present.
The retirement plan, identified as GP- 5000R, has been
designated as a "HUD Approved Standard Pian" available
to local urban renewal and low -rent housing agencies.
We currently have the plan with 5 -1/2% contributed
by both this agency and the employee. The additional
2% would be contributed by this agency, at our expense,
to the retirement program.
Mr. Lennon said it is the staff recommendation that the
2% not be added for the remaining months of '74. While
the community legislation is at the discussion stage in
Congress, it would not be feasible to do anything with
the plan at this time. Only a few of our employees
would be involved.
On motion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and
unanimously carried, the Commission concurred in not
increasing the contribution at this time.
Access Roadway to Morris Civic Auditorium: Commission
recommendation was requested for the tea ffic pattern
in front of Morris Civic Auditorium, R -66.
The access roadway to the Morris Civic Auditorium,
from the.North Michigan Street in front of the Morris
to Colfax, was. constructed after much planning to service
the Morris Auditorium only. Plans were made to keep this
street closed by means of a gate which was to be locked
at all times except when functions were scheduled for
the Morris Auditorium.
- 7 -
NINTH AMENDATORY,
R -57
RETIREMENT
PENSION PLAN
MORRIS CIVIC
AUDITORIUM
ROADWAY ACCESS
