7. PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont'd) <br />E -3 <br />Rehabilitation work at.1216 West Thomas Street. <br />Homeowner and contractor are requesting a <br />change order. Final rehabilitation inspection <br />should be about July 10. <br />One rehabilitation work pending owner's release <br />from hospital for final inspection. <br />ect: Rehabilitation work at 801 Turnock Street. Con- <br />tractor is to start correcting homeowners rejected <br />rehabilitation items. Final inspection should be <br />approximately July 10. <br />R -57 ro`ect: Mr. George Pope feels he will have a contractor's <br />bid for remaining rehabilitation work on his <br />property by July 19, 1974 Commission meeting. <br />E -6 Project: <br />Dire <br />re po <br />Sou <br />Written report submitted by Keith Crighton. Con- <br />struction in the E -6 Project is on schedule with <br />completion of Contracts No. 2 and 3 anticipated <br />during the lst week of July. Contractors are <br />experiencing some difficulty in obtaining supplies <br />due to the increased demand of construction season. <br />Preconstruction conferences for Contracts 4, 6, 7, <br />8 and 9 will be held as soon as HUD concurrence <br />is received. Preconstruction conference has been <br />held for Contract 5 and the Notice to Proceed will <br />be issued as soon as they have completed Contract <br />2. <br />Contracts 8 and 9 were awarded by E -6 approval <br />Committee on June 14, 1974. Contract 8 was awarded <br />to Sanfaye, Inc., in amount of $14,885.00, and Con- <br />tract 9 was awarded to Michiana Construction Company, <br />in amount of $16,002.00. These amounts bring the <br />total E -6 fund allocation to $129,389.00. <br />Contracts 10 and 11 have been advertised and will <br />be awarded during the early part of July. <br />3) Relocation Progress Report: Mrs. Dorothy Howell,. RELOCATION PROGRESS <br />:or of Residential Relocation, submitted following written REPORT <br />st N.D.P. A -10: Ten remaining on workload; six families <br />and four individuals. <br />ModellCities N.D.P. A -10: One individual on the workload. <br />Difficu ty in relocating. <br />Indiaha R -57: One individual's house is in condemnation. <br />Avenue: One family remaining- -move pending. <br />
