Mr. Wilcox said there has never been a fire display <br />to m tch the one coming up, with "Greetings to the River Bend <br />Plaz !" and "South Bend is a Great Place!" <br />3) Frances Shop Settlement: For the record, this was FRANCES SHOP <br />finalized the afternoon of our last Commission meeting for an SETTLEMENT <br />agreed to amount of $1,550 as our portion of the cost for the <br />sidewalk replacement. An agreement was signed and the Frances <br />Shop picked up the remaining costs. <br />4) Bicentennial Park Award Letter: Mr. Lennon advised <br />of this letter from Mr. James M. Guthrie, Director, State of <br />Indiana, American Revolution Bicentennial Commission, Indiana - <br />polis, Indiana, that they have received a check, in the amount <br />of $40,000, from ARBA, in Washington, and it is on deposit to <br />their credit with the State Treasurer. This is to be paid <br />to South Bend in increments not to exceed $10,000 each on <br />presentation of substantiating documents. <br />Mr. Lennon advised this relates to the Bicentennial Park <br />and under the Park Department contract not Redevelopment. <br />This is known as our Parcel 1 -1, donated by Mr. Ed Ehlers, <br />to the City of South Bend. <br />b. Model Cities Code Enforcement Project, Indiana E -6: <br />The status report is as follows: Mr. Lennon advised we have <br />nine (9) contracts signed, for an approximate total of $108,000 <br />and anticipate four more contracts before July 1.
