NEW BUSINESS (Cont'd) <br />Mr. Slabaugh advised at Beck Lake outlet a block where the <br />curb and pavement sank due to the muck, the pavement was <br />removed and raised so the water would drain into the Lake. <br />ThesE charges are for pavement patching, curb and gutter <br />repl cement, sidewalk replacement, storm sewers and traffic <br />cont of posts. <br />On m tion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Rev. Williams and unani- <br />mously carried, Change Order No. l to Site Improvement Con- <br />tract "I ", for an increase in contract amount of $1,292..00, <br />with the Rieth -Riley Construction Co., Inc., was approved. <br />Option Agreements: Approval was requested for two <br />(2) Option Agreements in Project Indiana NDP A -10, for the <br />following: <br />Parc l_ No. Address Concurred -In Amount <br />1-14.1 234 N. Olive Street (MN #1) $ 4,675.00 <br />76-El 226 E. Paris Street (SE #1) 2,750.00 <br />On m tion by Rev. Williams, seconded by Mr. Chenney and unani- <br />mous y carried, the above -noted option agreements were ap- <br />prov d and the President authorized to execute. <br />HUD EEO Seminar: Mr. Lennon stated that at the re- <br />ques of HUD we are requesting permission to send Messrs. <br />Fran Alford and Robert Fisher to attend a HUD Equal Oppor- <br />tune y Seminar, in Columbus, Ohio, on June 12 through 14, <br />1974 Mr. Lennon stated his concern about staff travel when <br />we a e laying off individuals but that this is an important <br />conf rence and he recommended that the Commission approve <br />the ravel of these two staff members. The total cost should <br />be a proximately $97.00 and they would be travelling in one <br />car ith other employees from the City. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Rev. Williams and unani- <br />mous y carried, the above staff were approved to attend the <br />Semi ar. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />A.
