7. PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont'd <br />concrete pour. Bush.- hammered concrete skin has <br />been installed along St. Joseph Street frontage. <br />C. Office Engineer's West Annex (retail- warehouse <br />facility at 121 -A South Michigan Street) is .now <br />95% complete. Store front metal and glass installed, <br />quarry tile foyer complete. <br />D. The Peak Building shell is now enclosed from the <br />elements, canopy has been framed awaiting metal <br />facing, store front complete, interior work in <br />progress. The future home.of "Tom's Famous Grille <br />should be near completion in four weeks. <br />E. The Shannon- Continental Corp., owners of the 300 <br />North Michigan Bldg. and their contractors, cur- <br />rently renovating 20,000 square feet of office <br />space for the County Welfare Department, are exper- <br />iencing construction delays that may offset the target <br />moving date of March 15th. The lag in construction time- <br />tables may delay their move by as much as 15 to 30 days. <br />F. The Boul -Jeff Restaurant and Lounge is 99% complete and <br />will open for business within a week. <br />G. The National Bank advises they have received purchase <br />offer for the Avon Theatre property. They must now <br />weigh the offer in light of the appraisal value and <br />the cost of rehabilitation estimates. <br />Mr. Lennon advised Mr. Bauer's monthly report shows <br />monthly what is generating in the downtown area. Many <br />times people do not realize this generates from Redevelop- <br />ment, to rehabilitation, ..we do not just tear down build- <br />ings. <br />c. Merry Avenue: Mr. Larry E. Wartha, Assistant Director MERRY AVENUE <br />of Administration and Finance, submitted his written <br />report for the month of February, and update is: <br />The same as previous month with the exception of <br />the Madison Scott case and this relocation claims <br />was approved in this morning's meeting. <br />d. Rehabilitation Report: This written report was sub - <br />mitted by Mr. William C.
