Havens, Director of Opera - dvises they have our letter of December 21 replying request explaining violations of PL -91 -646, under R -57 for fiscal year of 1973, regarding the HUD Form !al Property Acquisition Report. They have submitted their legal department for evaluation. They are also requesting similar explanation of indicated violation under Project R -66, in our HUD 6501, Real Property Acquisition Report. Mr. Lennon advised our staff has submitted that particular request also. b. HUD letter dated January 18, 1974: This Letter, over the signature of Mr. Daniel B. Bowman, Assistant Director, Technical Services Branch, enclosed a Wage Rate Decision issued by the Department of Labor, dated January 7, 1974. This covers our Demolition & Site Clearance Contract No. 2, Project Indiana A -10. In the event that construction starts on or before May 6, 1974, this wage decision will be considered valid and in effect for the duration of subject project. If construction would start after this ,date, these wage rates would be con- sidered void, and we would need to await the issuance of a new _decision, with forty -five days allowed for in- transit time to process a new one. c. HUD letter dated January 23, 1974: This letter, over the signature of Miss Joyce C. Rayford, Equal Opportunity Assistant, advised they have received Form No. 1 and Notice of Non - Discrimination for the contractor, Julius O'Neal: Truck - ing.Co., who was awarded Demolition & Site Clearance Contract No. 1, Project Indiana A -10. HUD is requesting the minutes of the Preconstruction Confer- ence they authorized for this Contract. Mr. Lennon advised Mr. Frank Alford has already complied with this r Quest. d. HUD letter dated January 25, 1974: This letter, over the signature of Miss Joyce C. Rayford, Equal Opportunity Assistant, advised they have received EEO Submissions for Demolition & Site Clearance Contract No. 35, awarded to Julius O'Neal Trucking Co., Project Indiana R -66. The Bidders Certification failed to indicate the trade of the bulldozer opera r under Parts 2(a) or,(b).
