4. <br />a. <br />the si <br />tions, <br />to the <br />Projec <br />6501, <br />this t <br />ICATIONS <br />HUD letter dated January 18, 1974: This letter, over <br />ature of Mr. Stephen J. Havens, Director of Opera - <br />dvises they have our letter of December 21 replying <br />request explaining violations of PL -91 -646, under <br />R -57 for fiscal year of 1973, regarding the HUD Form <br />!al Property Acquisition Report. They have submitted <br />their legal department for evaluation. <br />They are also requesting similar explanation of indicated <br />violation under Project R -66, in our HUD 6501, Real Property <br />Acquisition Report. <br />Mr. Lennon advised our staff has submitted that particular <br />request also. <br />b. HUD letter dated January 18, 1974: This Letter, over <br />the signature of Mr. Daniel B. Bowman, Assistant Director, <br />Technical Services Branch, enclosed a Wage Rate Decision <br />issued by the Department of Labor, dated January 7, 1974. <br />This covers our Demolition & Site Clearance Contract No. 2, <br />Project Indiana A -10. <br />In the event that construction starts on or before May 6, <br />1974, this wage decision will be considered valid and in <br />effect for the duration of subject project. If construction <br />would start after this ,date, these wage rates would be con- <br />sidered void, and we would need to await the issuance of a <br />new _decision, with forty -five days allowed for in- transit <br />time to process a new one. <br />c. HUD letter dated January 23, 1974: This letter, over <br />the signature of Miss Joyce C. Rayford, Equal Opportunity <br />Assistant, advised they have received Form No. 1 and Notice <br />of Non - Discrimination for the contractor, Julius O'Neal: Truck - <br />ing.Co., who was awarded Demolition & Site Clearance Contract <br />No. 1, Project Indiana A -10. <br />HUD is requesting the minutes of the Preconstruction Confer- <br />ence they authorized for this Contract. <br />Mr. Lennon advised Mr. Frank Alford has already complied with <br />this r Quest. <br />d. HUD letter dated January 25, 1974: This letter, over <br />the signature of Miss Joyce C. Rayford, Equal Opportunity <br />Assistant, advised they have received EEO Submissions for <br />Demolition & Site Clearance Contract No. 35, awarded to <br />Julius O'Neal Trucking Co., Project Indiana R -66. The Bidders <br />Certification failed to indicate the trade of the bulldozer <br />opera r under Parts 2(a) or,(b).
