• READ, RECOGNIZE RESPOND <br />a M <br />De -Escalation, Detecting Deception & Pre -Attack Indicators <br />qP <br />It is indeed an honor and a pleasure for Calibre Press to enter into an Agreement to provide training for the <br />South Bend Police Department. Calibre Press shall deliver our program titled, "Read, Recognize & Respond" and <br />the following will confirm specific roles and responsibilities of both the South Bend Police Department and <br />Calibre Press. <br />1. Calibre Press will conduct our eight (8) hour training seminar titled, "Read, Recognize & Respond" <br />between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm on January 27, 2020. <br />2. Calibre Press will conduct the class at the training facility assigned by the South Bend Police Department. <br />I Calibre Press shall provide training for up to 100 officers identified by the South Bend Police Department. <br />4. The South Bend Police Department shall provide, at their expense, a classroom facility to comfortably <br />seat the contracted number of attendees, as well as the following audio/visual equipment and set up <br />requirements necessary to conduct the course. <br />A 12 x 16 Riser (only if attendance exceeds 100) <br />House Sound to include wireless lav or lapel microphones <br />House Lighting System which allows lights to dim <br />LCD Projectoron a 36-inch high metal audio-visual projectorcart orceiling mounted projection system <br />that will integrate with instructor's laptop and -software <br />0 10 x 12 Projection Screen <br />0 Seating: Classroom style to preferred but not necessary <br />Instructor access to facility the day prior to class to conduct sound / equipment check <br />5. The South Bend Police Department agrees to distribute, collect and return our Calibre generated <br />Evaluation Form. <br />6. The South Bend Police Department agrees to provide Calibre Press with a complete attendance roster <br />including student name, organization, email and phone number. <br />7. Calibre Press will provide the following: <br />0 Calibre Press Subject Matter Instructor <br />Padfolio for Notes <br />0 Evaluation <br />0 Certificate of Completion (Complete Roster Must Be Received 10 Business Days Prior to Course) <br />o Course Posting on the Calibre Press Website (if requested) <br />
