(2) All animals and animal quarters are kept in a <br /> clean and sanitary condition and so maintained as to eliminate <br /> objectionable odors . <br /> (3) Animals are maintained in quarters so constructed <br /> as to prevent their escape and protect the public from coming in <br /> direct contact with them. <br /> (d) Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision <br /> ($200 . 00) for thc first offense and not more than five hundred <br /> dollars ($500 . 00) for each subacelident offense; and a s-cparatc <br /> offense shall be deemed committed on each day during which or on <br /> which a violation occurs or continues . <br /> Sec. 5-24. Seizure of certain animals -fferee <br /> natures-e3-. <br /> (a) It shall be unlawful for any per 'seep, harbor, <br /> naturae) . <br /> (b) Wild animals are decd in Scction 5 1 (jj) and shall <br /> include but not be limited to raccoons, skunks, foxes, squirrels, <br /> chipmunks, porcupines, wolves , and woodchucks . <br /> (c) Zoological parks, animal care facilities, circuses or <br /> carnivals properly licens-cd pursuant to this code, and persons <br /> possessing a valid wildlife permit from thc Indiana Department of <br /> Conservation arc exempt for this section. <br /> (d) (a) Any person who owns, possesses or harbors any ft <br /> wild animal in violation of this Chapter Section 5 23 and is not <br /> issued a wildlife permit or whose wildlife permit is revoked may <br /> have the animal (s) seized confiscated and impounded. by thc <br /> Indiana Dcpartmcnt of Cons-crvation_ or by a Humane Officer. <br /> (e) Persons in violation of this section shall be fined one <br /> hundred dollars 0-100 . 00) for the first offense and one hundred <br /> fifty dollars ($150 . 00) for each subscgensc; and a <br /> which or on which a violation occurs or continues . <br /> No person shall harbor, hold for sale, s -4- eep or <br /> maintain in the City any attack dog unless : <br /> 20 <br />
