Van Ornum, Acting Assistant REQUISITION NO. 1 <br />Regional Administrator for Community Development, approves TO CONTRACT IND. <br />our Te orary Loan Requisition No. 1 to Contract Indiana A- 10(LG) APPROVED <br />A- 10(LG�, in the amount of $253,529.00. Government inspec- <br />tion a d audit fees, in amount of $6,195.00, were disallowed, <br />A check for the approved amount will be drawn on the Treasurer <br />of the United States and will be mailed directly to our deposi- <br />tary designated and authorized by our agency for credit to the <br />project bank account. <br />On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins and unani- <br />mously carried, this letter is to be received and placed on <br />file. <br />b. HUD letter dated August 13, 1973: This letter, over HUD -6501 FY -73 <br />the signature of Mr. H. L. Bainaka, Acting Director, Operations REPORT, R -57 <br />Divisi n, requires our Real Estate Division develop a report <br />for which compensation paid was less than approved valuation <br />on HUD 6501, FY -73 report, for LaSalle Park, Indiana R -57. This <br />is a H D re ulation requirement to determine compliance with <br />Sectio 301 3) of Title III of Public Law 91 -646 for property <br />acqui r d. <br />Mr. Lton advised our Real Estate Division will comply with <br />this r auest. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and unani- <br />mously carried, this letter is to be received and placed on <br />file. <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br />a Change Order No. 2 to Demolition Contract No. 1: CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 <br />This is an addition to the Scattered Site Contract in TO DEMOLITION CON- <br />Projects E -3, E -5 and R -57 with Julius O'Neal Trucking TRACT NO. 1 APPROVED, <br />Company, for the demolition of the old Sacred Heart School E -3, E -5 AND R -57 <br />buildi g at 1130 West Thomas Street. This is a 2 -1/2 story <br />brick uilding which has been declared substandard by the <br />City o South Bend. <br />Mr. Lennon advised the contractor bid on the rectory and <br />garage (shown on our bid documents as a two - bedroom with <br />basement and garage). Based on the submission of the <br />addres , the contractor assumed the rectory was the house; <br />whereas, the building to be demolished at this address is <br />in bac of the church - -the 2 -1/2 story brick school build- <br />ing. <br />- 5 - <br />
