8. 1 PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont'd <br />5) Bids are being taken to reinforce the exposed north wall <br />of Business Systems, 117 South Michigan Street. The party <br />wall will be extended in the east direction to square off <br />the property line. <br />6) T :ant and owner interest to rehabilitate the Avon <br />Theat a and adjoining shops has been generated since the <br />inten to acquire this property was published. Further <br />evalu tion of the property may be necessary based on rehab, <br />propo als. <br />7) Dr. Scholl's footcare and footwear retail outlet is <br />now located at their new space at 305 South Michigan Street. <br />Interior work has been completed and exterior signage will <br />be installed this week. <br />8) Preliminary plans have been received to develop the <br />Brown property adjacent to the State Theatre Building. <br />The Urban Design Review Board unanimously endorsed the <br />proposed structure, facing the pedestrian way and fronting <br />the Jefferson Street Plaza. <br />h.
