7. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Offering No. 7: We received a bid from <br />Associates Bancorp., Inc., along with an Irrevocable Letter <br />of Credit from the First Bank & Trust Company for six <br />months. On August 1, 1973 we received an extension of the <br />Irrevocable Letter of Credit, No. 1334, in amount of <br />$161,4 8.10, covering Disposition Parcel Nos. 2 -13, 4 -30A, <br />4 -30B, 4 -31, 4 -32 and 4 -42. This covers 10% of the pur- <br />chase rice of the land. This should be received and placed <br />on rec rd. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and unani- <br />mously carried, Irrevocable Letter of Credit No. 1334 was <br />accept d from the First Bank & Trust Company to be placed <br />on fi 1 . <br />PUBLIC OFFERING NO. 79 <br />IRREVOCABLE LETTER OF <br />CREDIT, NO. 13349 R -66 <br />b. Change Order No. 9 to Contracts A, B, C and D: Ap- CHANGE ORDER NO. 9 <br />proval was requested of Change Order No. 9 to this contract TO CONTRACTS A, B, <br />with tie Rieth -Riley Construction Co., Inc., for extension C & D APPROVED, E -3 <br />of tim only for completion date of this contract to August <br />24, 1973. This is in the Northeast Code Enforcement Area, <br />Indiano Project E -3. <br />This extension is required because the subbase, which was <br />chemically treated and graded last fall during a period of heavy <br />rainfall, has not stabilized sufficiently to allow placing of <br />the binder and surface courses. There is no change in the <br />dollar amount of the contract. <br />c. Jefferson <br />at rear of Parcel No. 9 -21 would be <br />built under the Hickey Company Contract. <br />The other vault walls on Contract 5 would be <br />eliminated. <br />ximate cost of the Commerce Building is: $2,875.00. <br />of 107 W.
