Acquisition Parcel No. 12 -5, R -66: Mr. Lennon said ACQUISITION PARCEL <br />lave a request for a motion by the Commission for a NO. 12 -5, BROWN <br />:el of land in front of the St. Joseph Bank & Trust PROPERTY, R -66 <br />►any, referred to as the Brown property, located at <br />.210 South Michigan Street. <br />Wiggins made the following motion: <br />Having been advised by the owners of Parcel 12 -5, <br />in R -66, that they contemplate construction improve- <br />ment of this property, I move that we agree to dis- <br />miss our condemnation suit on the condition and at <br />the time that construction is started, no later <br />than September 1, 1973, and on the further condi- <br />tion that substantial work be undertaken by Septem- <br />ber 20, 1973. <br />A dent Helmen said this involves the Brown property, which is <br />;ently known as the "'hole in the ground." This motion says, <br />!ffect, they will start construction by September 1 and will <br />substantial construction by the 20th before we will dismiss <br />condemnation suit. <br />The motion made by Mr. Wiggins was seconded by Mr. Chenney and <br />una imously carried. <br />6. I NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Assignment for Disposition Parcel Nos. 4 -70 and 4 -72, less <br />North 10 feet of 4 -72: Approval was requested of the Assignment <br />from the First Bank and Trust Company of South Bend, Trustee for <br />Land Trust No. 29 -5121, and A.G.A. Realty Company of South Bend, <br />to ether as the Redeveloper of Disposition Parcel Nos. 4 -70 and <br />4- 2, less North 10 feet of 4 -72, Indiana R -66, to the South <br />Bend Economic Development Commission's interest in property and <br />authorizing transfer of deed to EDC. <br />On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Wade and unanimously <br />ca ried, the President and Secretary were authorized to execute <br />th above Assignment. <br />b. Assignment for North 10 Feet of Disposition Parcel No.. <br />4-72: Approval was requested of the Assignment from t e 1rst <br />9-ark and Trust Company of South Bend, Trustee for Land Trust No. <br />29-5121, and A.G.A. Realty Company of South Bend, together as <br />thE Redeveloper of the North 10 feet of Parcel No. 4 -72, Indiana <br />R-66, to the South Bend Economic Development Commission's inter- <br />est in property and authorizing transfer of deed to EDC. <br />On motion by Rev.
