Williams and <br />unanimously carried, Demolition and Site Clearance Contract <br />No. 1 was awarded to Julius O'Neal Trucking Company, in bid <br />amount of $17,989.00, and the President and Secretary be <br />aut orized to enter into a contract, subject to Legal Counsel <br />app oval and HUD concurrence. <br />Mr. Lennon said the rationale for the $595.06 increase is <br />outlined in the letter to the Commission. We asked them <br />at that time to do some changes and the work was done after <br />the original change order. <br />Mr. Slabaugh said previously we had to lower driveways and <br />all ys to get full 6" curb exposure. When the City Engineer <br />would need to reseal, you keep picking up until there is no <br />curb. On 3" exposure, rather than to save money now, we <br />are making it according to city standards to drop alley <br />driveway. <br />On otion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Rev. Williams and <br />unanimously carried, the above motion was made. <br />d.
