The Chair said: "We feel very <br />keenly about you leaving, appreciate everything you have <br />done for the community, and you are to be complimented <br />in your new venture and we want to wish you well." <br />The resident of the Board of Trustees, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, <br />requ sted permission from the Chair to speak: <br />"On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I want to <br />echo the words of Mr. Helmen, and also that the <br />citizens of the community are indeed indebted <br />for the courage, labor and hard work that Lloyd <br />has given to the community. He, together with <br />you gentlemen, has placed an indelible stamp on <br />the future of South Bend. A year ago, searching <br />and negotiating with Mr. Taylor, he certainly <br />filled the bill and fulfilled it, and on behalf <br />of the citizens I want to thank Lloyd for the <br />hard work and time he has put into this." <br />Mr. henney said he also feels the same and regrets that <br />Mr. �aylor is leaving us. <br />Mr. liggins said: "I think it has been well said. The <br />reco d and facts speak for themselves. Talk is cheap, <br />but iction is something else. The public should be aware <br />the nl y way a community can get out of this tax cycle is <br />by b ing a dynamic moving community. I am very happy to <br />have been a part of it." <br />5.
