5. OLD BUSINESS a. Disposition Parcel No. 4 -30A: This item had been ADVERTISING APPROVED tabled from the August 4, 1972 Commission meeting. FOR DISPOSITION PARCEL NO. 4 -30A, MINIMUM BID Commission authorization was now requested to advertise PRICE AND REHABILITA- Disp sition Parcel No. 4 -30A, with bid opening date of TION, R -66 December 1, 1972, at 10.30 A.M., and establish minimum bid price of $106,500 and rehabilitation of the building at an estimated cost of $126,500 in the Downtown Urban Renewal Project, R -66. This is the former Hardy Shoes and House of Fabrics, on the East side of Michigan Street, North of Office Engin- eers. We have a developer interested in 47.5 feet on Michigan Street with a depth of 165 feet, or approxi- mately 7,837.5 square feet, and is interested in re- habilitating the building on the property. We have had two reuse appraisals made of the property, including the buildings thereon. These appraisals are $109,000 and $104,000, or an average of $106,500. On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney, authorization to advertise Disposition Parcel No. 4 -30A, and establish minimum bid price of $106,500 and rehabi- lit tion of the building at an estimated cost of $126,500 was approved and unanimously carried. 6. INEW BUSINESS a. Change Order No. 1 to Demolition Contract No. 25: CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 This is to delete the electric sign on Parcel No. 15 -1, TO DEMOLITION CONTRACT at the Southwest corner of Jefferson Boulevard Bridge, NO.25 APPROVED, R -66 R-6 E, from Demolition Contract No. 25 and decrease the contract price in amount of $400.00, with no change in contract time. The sign will remain under the property management section of this department being used for urban renewal. The Chair requested if there has been any reaction on this sign and Mr. Taylor said all the comments he has heard haVE been very favorable. On notion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney, Change Order No. 1 to Demolition Contract No. 25, with decrease in ontract amount of $400.00, was approved and unani- mously carried. b.
