7. PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont "d <br />Wayn - Michigan building site construction work ahead of <br />sche ule: Basement and foundation walls complete, main <br />floo slab installed, steel erection 90% complete, in- <br />teri )r masonry walls 50% complete, with scheduled com- <br />pletion date of January 15, 1973 -- weather permitting. <br />111 . Washington Building: rehabilitation of upper <br />floo plans in progress. <br />Smaller tenants to be relocated to make space available <br />for ajor one tenant use in Sherland Building. <br />Plan are in progress for JMS Annex Building, 125 -129 W. <br />Wash ngton Street, offering available space for retail <br />stor s and offices. <br />Complete preliminary renovation estimates are being taken <br />for 08 and 110 South Michigan Street Building, adjacent to <br />Office Engineers. Tenant interest is being shown in the <br />Katz Building, corner of Main and Colfax, and also the <br />building adjacent Milady Shop, 123 -125 North Michigan <br />Stre t, which would enable owners to renovate the buildings. <br />Roya Inns site is progressing with the tower structure <br />reac ing the third level. <br />Merry Avenue Project: Mr. Larry Wartha sub - <br />mitt d a written progress report and Mrs. Gertrude Barth <br />subm tted a summary on the property acquisition for this <br />Prof ct. <br />Property Management: Rev. Kirk submitted a <br />writ en report on Property Management: <br />The rent roll for the month of November is $8,099.51, an <br />increase of $2,014.75, resulting from leasing off - street <br />park ng facilities to the South Bend Parking Company and <br />Crow ey Realty Corporation. <br />Clea ing and surveillance of the downtown area is being <br />cont nued. <br />The 1week, roject boundary signs should be installed sometime <br />next marking the areas in the Model Cities Project. <br />.
