Memorandum of Agreement with City of South Bend <br />Dem nstration Agency Model Cities): This Agreement <br />ent red into the 18th day of August, 1971, between the <br />CitY of South Bend, acting through its City Demonstration <br />Age icy and the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelop- <br />ment. The parties previously entered into a contract iden- <br />tical to this Memorandum of Agreement, (except for Paragraph <br />2, age 1, stating no executed copies of the contract can <br />be found). <br />Exe ution of this Memorandum of Agreement is to re- execute <br />and re- affirm the terms of the original Memorandum between <br />the parties. <br />The Department of Redevelopment is to perform all activi- <br />ties for the Model Cities Relocation and Extended Services <br />Project as approved in the HUD grant to the City and in <br />acc rdance with Project description in Appendix 1, Amend- <br />ment 1, with allowable costs not to exceed $132,450. <br />On notion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Chenney and unani- <br />mously carried, the President and Assistant Secretary were <br />aut orized to enter into and execute the above Memorandum <br />of greement. <br />d. Deed with First Bank and Trust Company of South <br />BenJ and City Develo ment Company, Disposition Parcel No. <br />8 -3: Authorization was requested to rescind deed exe- <br />cu t or: date "on or before December 31, 1972" and "tenta- <br />tiva closing date of December 4, 1972" with the First <br />Ban< and Trust Company of South Bend as Trustee for Land <br />Tru t No. 29 -5094 and the City Development Company as the <br />Red veloper, approved in Commission Meeting of October 6, <br />and, in lieu thereof, substitute: <br />"execution of deed on or before January 31, <br />1973, with tentative closing date of January <br />8, 1973." <br />ASSIGNMENT APPROVED, <br />DISPOSITION PARCEL NO. <br />8 -3, R -66 <br />AGREEMENT WITH MODEL <br />CITIES APPROVED <br />DEED EXECUTION DATE <br />RESCINDED AND CHANGED <br />TO "ON OR BEFORE <br />1- 31 -73 ", DISPOSITION <br />PARCEL NO. 8 -3, R -66 <br />
