.,61 Board met in regular session at 10 AM. Mr.. Niedbalski absent. -,'In the matter of the Vacation Resolution NO. I The Board find that the property of The Indiana Lumber :� Manufacturing Co. is benefited in the amount of 'One Hundred and Fifty( $150.000 Dollars The, property of The Indiana Lumber & Mennufacturing Co. is therefore assessed One Hundred and Fifty(I50.00)dollars Now coms the Indiana Lumber & Manufacturing Co: and -waive all notice of assessments under Vacation Resolution No.I and pay into. the Treasury of theCity of South Bend,Ind,iana.the sum of One Hundred and Fifty ( I50.00) Dollars Board of Public Wc7rk� IMPROVEMENT ,RESOLUTION NO . IO Resolved by the Board of public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiana. That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described.public improvements in the said'City as authorized by the following numbered improvement Resolution,a,depted by said Board on the I2th. day of April 1910. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind,size,location and terminal points as.follow*:'By Grading and Paving the roadway from the Curb line to Curb line on Hammond Court from St,J®seph Street to the East end of said Court,with Cold Tar or Asphalt Filled Macadam eight(g)inches in depth. Said improvement shall be known and designated as HAMMOND COURT ASPHALT OR COLD TAR FILLED MACADAM IMPROVEMENT NO. IO Detail drawings,plans,profiles and specificati*ns are on file and may be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said public improvements must be done* in accordance therewith. Said Board has fixed the 13th. day of May 1910 as a date upon which remonstraneesmay be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said public improvement and on said day at 7-15 P.M: said Board will at its sated office hear and consider any remonstrances and persons interested or whose property ismaffected by said public improvement and will deside.whether the benefits that will accure to the property, abufing and adjacent to the proposed improvements,and to said Citywill be equil to:or thefestigmated cost of the proposed improvement,as estimated by the City civil Engineer. tB iT to law. That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described public improvements in the said City as authorized by the following numbered Improvement Resolution,adepted by said Foard on -the 12th day of April 1910 Resolved that an Improvement be made of the kind,size,locationand termanal points as follows? By improving Millers Court and 0 sborn Street from Sample Street to Vistula Avenue by grading and paving the roa,dwayalso grading and paving the roadway of. intersecting, and entering streets and alleys lying within said -portion of 'fillers Court and Osborn street not included in the readwayto be improved,with Asphalt,Bithulithic, Brick, or Creseeted Wooden Block,lai.d on a five(5) inch Portland Cement Concrete gravel foundation ,from curb line to curb line,placing the necessary marginal cement curb ', and curbing the roadway with cement curbwheresame is not ilready eonstructed,a1se the construction of the necessary storm water inlets, Said improvements shall be known and designated as MILLER COURT AND OSBORN STREET PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT NO I2 Detail drawings,plans,profiles and specifications are on file and may be seen at the o fffice of said Board and all work in the making of said public irprovements must be done in accordenee therewith. Board has fixed the 13th, day Of May 191Oas a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons interesteder aff ectedby said public improvements and on said day at 7-I5 P.M. said Board will at its said office hear and consider any remonstrances and persons interested or whose property,. affected by said public improvement and will deside whether the benefits. that will accureto the preperty,abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvement and to said City,will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvement,ag estimated by the City civil Engineer. .A Bond of Bonds i^sued to the contractor as accoding to lain.
