6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont'd) <br />The candidate recommended to the Commission by the Urban <br />Desigr Review Committee was Mr. Ronald P. Radecki, who is <br />currently serving as President and General Manager of <br />Radec i Galleries, Inc., South Bend. He has attended <br />Indiana University, majoring in Fine Arts and Geography, <br />and Purdue University, majoring in Landscape Architecture. <br />He ha had considerable architectural and landscape de- <br />sign Experience, and interested in our Downtown Renewal <br />Program. Mr. Radecki is 27 years of age and would be a <br />"youn er input of the Downtown Renewal Program." <br />Motior was made by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, <br />for the appointment of Mr. Ronald P. Radecki, as a <br />membei to the Urban Design Review Committee, as re- <br />comme ded, and unanimously carried. <br />Resolution No. 414: Mr. Barbe advised several <br />month ago we su mitted in accordance with the Uniform <br />Relocation Act, both in Downtown, R -66, and LaSalle <br />Project, R -57, for additional monies that was caused by <br />the new Act for relocation purposes. This is 100% Federal <br />money This resolution authorizes the Commission President <br />and S cretary to execute the two counterparts of the pro- <br />posed amendments for the Projects with the U.S. Government. <br />Mr. WJggins moved for the adoption of Resolution No. 414, <br />secon ed by Mr. Chenney and unanimously carried. <br />.
