7. PROGRESS REPORT <br />a. Northeast PAC Committee: On evening of <br />June 12th, the Northeast PAC Committee met with HUD <br />representative, Mrs. Joan Otto and Mr. Barbe. The <br />principal item of the meeting was to discuss a new <br />type of planning process that HUD officials are asking <br />we go into - -a planning process at the grass roots level, <br />such as we have in Model Cities, but on a more concentra- <br />ted time basis. The need is to get together with all <br />the various affected agencies to work out a plan for <br />the Northeast and Southeast Neighborhood on a concentra- <br />ted ba is and period of time. The PAC Committee voted <br />in fav r of requesting the Mayor enter into such a <br />planni g process. <br />8. NEXT MEETING <br />T e next Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Com- <br />mission will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 7, 1972, in <br />the Office of the Department of Redevelopment. <br />9.
