7. <br />PROGRESS REPORTS (Cont'd) <br />c. Property Management: Rev. Kirk submitted a <br />wri ten report on Property Management: <br />The rent roll for May is $6,767.00 - -a decrease of <br />$375.00 from last month, reflecting moving of Van <br />Hor e & Company. Three firms moved: Army -Navy <br />Dis ount Store, 320 S. Michigan Street; Capitol <br />Hearing Aid, 201 E. Jefferson Blvd.; and Community <br />News, 121 W. Washington. Residential tenant moved <br />fro 314 Columbia Street. <br />On the vandalism, Mr. Taylor advised security would <br />cost us more than the vandalism. Most of the property <br />belongs to the demolition contractors. Vandalism is <br />a problem -- whether it is ours, contractors, or others. <br />d. Rehabilitation Report, Site Offices: Mr. <br />Richard A. Madison, Reh a bilitation Director, submitted <br />a written report on his staff's activities: <br />On E -3: 18 initial inspections, 6 progress inspections, <br />3 re- inspections, and 3 final inspections have <br />been completed. <br />On R-57: 3 progress inspections and 1 final inspection <br />have been completed. <br />On E -5: 23 initial inspections and 3 progress inspec- <br />tions have been completed. <br />Our Homemakers staff for the E -3 Code Enforcement are <br />no located at the Northeast Neighborhood Center, 801 <br />North Notre Dame Avenue. They are bringing many services <br />to the area and are working closely with our staff. A <br />Di gnostic Survey has been completed on the E -5 area for <br />thE second year program. Social servcices, including <br />fo d stamps, social security benefits and housing, have <br />been rendered to four families. <br />ThE Financial Advisors are currently processing 50 <br />cases. <br />e. Relocation Progress Report: Mrs. Dorothy <br />Ho ell, Director of Residential Relocation, also sub - <br />mi ted a written report: <br />12 <br />6: Workload of eight - -4 families and 4 individuals. <br />Two individuals moved - -one with a sister, one <br />purchased a home, one plans to move into Carroll <br />Apartments by June 9th, one to move June 5, one <br />moved prior to acquisition, working with legal <br />guardian on another -- working with remaining <br />workload. <br />- 12 - <br />PROPERTY MANAGEMENT <br />REHABILITATION RE- <br />PORTS, R -57, E -3 & <br />E -5 OFFICES <br />RELOCATION PROGRESS <br />REPORT <br />
