NEW BUSINESS (Cont'd)- <br />k. Change Order No. 1, Phase II -Bf Parts A & B, Central Down- <br />town Renewal Project R -66: Mr. Taylor explained that this change <br />orde reduces this contract amount by $45,380.75 The major change <br />will be the elimination of Mill Street - this being the first alley <br />east of Michigan Street, running from Colfax to Washington Street, <br />and covers the installation of fourteen (14) wheel chair ramps at <br />various intersections -along St. Joseph Street mainly, in order to <br />cross St. Joseph Street to the Cultural Center. Mr. Chenney moved <br />for approval of Change Order No. 1 - no change in contract time, <br />and Rev. Williams seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CHANGE ORDER <br />NO. 1, PHASE <br />II -B, PARTS <br />A & B, PROJECT <br />IND R -66 <br />1. Lease with South Bend Parking Company, Parcels No 12 -13, LEASE WITH SOUT <br />12-14 and 12 -15: Commission approval requested of lease which BEND PARKING CO. <br />was negotiated for said parcels, to begin on the date that the PARCELS 12 -13, <br />Department of Redevelopment possesses this property. -Lessee will 12 -14 and 12 -15 <br />pay 11,600.00 per month on a month -to -month basis with lease to <br />be t rminated at a time that the Redevelopment Commission demon - <br />stra es a need for the property for the purpose of disposition. <br />The ommission commended legal counsel's efforts in negotiating <br />this lease. Mr. Wiggins moved for approval - Mr. Chenney seconded <br />the otion which carried unanimously. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />a. Residential Relocation: Relocation Progress Report was RELOCATION <br />pres nted for residential relocation in all areas, as of May 2, REPORT <br />1972. <br />b. Rehabilitation Report, R -66: Mr. E. R. Bauer, Rehabilitation REHABILITATION <br />Engineer submitted a written report on his activities. REPORT, R -66 <br />c. Business Relocation Progress Report: Mr. John A.
