He developed the above Affirmative <br />Action Program for this Department. <br />On m tion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, the <br />Redevelopment Affirmative Action Plan for Equal Employ- <br />ment Opportunity is to be placed on the Agenda for the <br />next Commission meeting - -April 21. Motion unanimously <br />carried. <br />b. Amendment to Contract for Professional Services: <br />This amendment is part of the Contract for Professional <br />Services dated May 15, 1970, between the Department of <br />Redevelopment and the Joint Venture of Clyde E. Williams <br />and fissociates, Inc., and Simonds and Simonds, now doing <br />busi ess under the name of "Environmental Planning and <br />Desi n ", Ind. R -66, Pedestrian Mall Consultants and De- <br />sign rs. <br />Mr. Taylor stated that the purpose of this amendment is <br />to increase the maximum permissible fee due to the in- <br />crease in the total estimated cost of the Project and to <br />increase the salary cost under Article VI -C per the con- <br />tract agreement. <br />On motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, the <br />amend ent to Contract for Professional Services was ap- <br />provep and unanimously carried. <br />c. Second Year Relocation Contract with Redevelop- <br />ment Department and Model Cities: Commission approval <br />was requested of a second year relocation contract with <br />Model Cities, allowable costs not to exceed $62,000. <br />Mr. Paul Baranowski, with Model Cities, said this is a <br />contract for services with the Department of Redevelop- <br />ment proposed by Model Cities Housing Committee, which <br />is a short term contract from April 1, 1972 and perform- <br />ance to be completed no later than August 1, 1972, not <br />to exceed $62,000, for assistance provided by family dis- <br />place ent for routine Code Enforcement in the Model Cities <br />area. <br />Motion for approval of the Second Year Relocation Contract <br />with lodel Cities, allowable costs not to exceed $62,000, <br />was made by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Rev.
