Taylor, Executive Cirectcr, submitted proofs of publications for the above and proof of Legal Notice submitted to pros`pec'tive bidders The site is for transient hotel -motel facilities. Mr. Taylor asked if there were any bids: hr. Jerome B. Kearns, Executive Vice- President of the St. Joseph Bank and Trust Company, submitted a sealed bid made by the St. Joseph Bank and Trust Company, as Trustee fora land trust for purpose of proposed site to construct a 160-unit motel to be o4;ned and operated by Royal Inns` of America. He submitted an arti'st's rendering of the Santa Ana, California, Royal Inn, which is nearly identi- cal to their plans for the Motor Inn chain's South Bend structure. Mr. Taylor opened the bid--contents showing: The bid submitted is for $2.66 per square foot, or.a total bid of $420,754.01, from the St. Joseph Bark arc, Trust Company, as Trustee for land trust. The bid is signed by r. Jerome B. Kearns.
