5. OLD BUSINESS (Cont'd <br />18 ft. 1 in. span x 11 ft. 10 in. rise, with <br />multi -plate pipe arch. The interior of the <br />tunnel is to have a concrete drive 12 ft. in <br />width, with a raised sidewalk on each side. <br />The interior is to be galvanized steel with <br />one row of fluorescent lighting at the peak <br />of the rise. <br />With the above changes, this tunnel would cost the same <br />as De ign No. 1 ($60,000). Mr. Taylor said Tunnel Design <br />No. 3--costing in the neighborhood of $75,000 - -is less <br />acceptable and costs more. No. 3 is the concrete box - <br />type, and unless put on pile, may crack and leak. <br />Mr. Wiggins made the motion the Executive Director be <br />autho ized to proceed with the change order for Tunnel <br />Desigi No. 2, with design changes as noted above, for <br />an ap )roximate cost of $60,000. Motion was seconded <br />by Mr. Chenney and unanimously carried. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />.
