7. PROGRESS REPORTS CCont'd <br />Business Relocation,, R -66: Mr. Paul E. Becher, <br />Business Relocation Director, had submitted a written <br />report on his staff's activities. <br />During January, a total of twelve payments were made to <br />nine business concerns; including four payments for <br />moving expenses totalling $17,975.50; five Direct Loss <br />of Property payments totalling $11,599.18; and three <br />Alternate Payments totalling $17,790.50, with a grand <br />total of $46,799.36. <br />d. Diagnostic Survey, E -3: The door -to -door inter- <br />view p ase of the diagnostic survey for the E -3 Code En- <br />force. nt Project is now completed. Statistical analysis <br />of 33 f the 43 blocks in the area is complete for the <br />sampli g of households. The trends evident in the analy- <br />sis of the 545 samplings continue to be substantial. <br />Ana 1ys°s should be completed prior to April 1st. <br />BUSINESS RELOCATION, <br />R -66 <br />DIAGNOSTIC SURVEY, <br />E -3 <br />e Rehabilitation Report, Site Offices: Mr. Richard REHABILITATION RE- <br />A. Mad °son, Director of Re a ilitation, su mitted a monthly PORTS, R -57, E -3 & <br />report of his staff's activities, in the three projects. E -5 OFFICES <br />R -57 &I E-3: <br />Sixteen progress reports were made and one grant ap- <br />proved for the month, in R -57. The workload consists of <br />24 grants, five loans and one combination loan and grant- - <br />two of which are owner - rehabilitation and seven undeter- <br />mined at this time. Nine initial inspections in E -3; <br />four f nal inspections and 20 progress reports were made <br />in E -3 <br />E -5: <br />Three grants were approved for this project for <br />January; financial advisors currently are processing 29 <br />cases. Current workload is six grants, eight loans, two <br />combination grant and loans, remainder undetermined. 17 <br />initia inspections and three re- inspections. <br />f Relocation Report: Written report was submitted RELOCATION REPORT <br />by Mrs Dorothy Howell, Relocation Director. <br />R -66: <br />T e workload is 14; consisting of seven families and 1) R -66 <br />indivi uals, each. One family moved and staff is con- <br />tinuinc to contact Public Housing for units and also work- <br />ing wi h families and individuals to secure other means <br />of housing. <br />R -57: <br />W rkload is one family, who is temporarily relocated 2) R -57 <br />in R-66 area. <br />_9 _ <br />
