Mr. Mecham stated he had some concerns regarding tall delivery trucks getting <br />damaged or causing damage to the building. Mr. Gilot stated that is the purpose of the Revocable <br />Permit, it contains indemnification language to protect the City. He noted the responsibility for <br />any damage is on the owner. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Ms. Roos and <br />carried, the Application for Encroachment and Revocable Permit were approved. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE THE SOUTH HALF OF <br />THE NORTH /SOUTH ALLEY BETWEEN ST. LOUIS BOULEVARD AND ST. PETER <br />STREET NORTH OF WAYNE STREET <br />Mr. Gilot indicated that CTG & Associates, on behalf of Zion United Church, 510 Lincoln Way <br />East, Mishawka, Indiana 46544, has submitted a request to vacate the above referenced alley for <br />the purpose of new construction. Mr. Gilot advised the Board is in receipt of favorable <br />recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police <br />Department, Fire Department, Solid Waste, Community and Economic Development and <br />Engineering. Area Plan stated the vacation would not hinder the growth or orderly development <br />
