<br />Mr. arl King, who is a member of the Executive Com- 
<br />mitt a of the Convention Bureau, said the Chamber of 
<br />Comm rce and the Hotel and Motel Association are re- 
<br />ques ing the Redevelopment Commission indicate whether 
<br />they favorably support this program. An affirmative 
<br />acti n from the Commission is needed to guide our 
<br />legi lators to adopt a statute similar to Ft. Wayne's.

<br />Commission.

<br />Will ams & Associates representative, outline the work 
<br />invo ved for this Phase, present bid tabulations and 
<br />answer questions the Commission may have. 
<br />Mr. uggy advised this project basically is a continua- 
<br />tion of St. Joseph Street, the reconstruction of the 
<br />Colfax Bridge, and two service drives. Advertisement 
<br />appeared in The South Bend Tribune on November 19 and 
<br />26, and the Tri- County News on same dates also. Bids 
<br />were opened last Tuesday, at 10:00 A.M., December 14, 
<br />1971 in this office, and bids received were:
