The old computers are being <br />transferred to the maintenance shops. <br /> <br />6.Lighting upgrades at the maintenance garages and around the proshops is underway. <br /> <br />7.The Open House is scheduled for March 1 at Erskine. <br /> <br />8.The Nick Pollizotto outing will be held May 30 at Elbel. <br /> <br /> <br />X.Comments by the Zoo Director <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Derosa reported that the Zoo participated in the Healthy Communities Initiative on <br />February 6 that was hosted by the Rotary Club. Six students participated. <br /> <br />2.Exhibit work continues, but is slow due to the amount of snow. The Zoo opens in seven <br />weeks. The South America and Butterfly exhibits will be ready to open. <br /> <br />3.A first meeting with Chet Gamble and Associates was held to go through the list of <br />improvements. An on site visit is planned and blue prints are being prepared. <br /> <br />4.Winter Days is this Saturday.
