The Ind ana State Legislature; passed following three House <br />Bills, ligned by the Governor: <br />House Bill 1318: Reduction of appraisers from three <br />to two and the retirement plan was approved for <br />L PA. <br />House Bill 1832: A State Uniform Relocation and.Acquisi- <br />tion Act, making relocation requirements mandatory <br />on any political subdivision of State of Indiana. <br />House Bill 122: An enlargement of existing Statutes <br />for assistance in financing; e.g. parking garages, <br />alls and other improvement projects. <br />g, Project Rehabilitation Meeting: A conference <br />was held at the Model Office, in South Bend, on <br />April 27, 1971, explaining the objectives and procedures <br />of the FAA-sponsored Project Rehabilitation Program. It <br />is HUD's belief that the housing needs of South Bend can <br />better be satisfied through utilization of other HUD FHA <br />programs. <br />h. Gar, Agreement: Miss Dianne;Semingson, our HUD <br />representative, discussed the concept of the Gary Agreement <br />with Mr. Barbe in Chicago on April 29, 1971.
