• Section 1: 1 . The substitution of the Book of Maps showing zoning districts and height and area districts by letters or letters and numbers placed directly on the Book of Maps is ratified, approved, and confirmed. 2 . The Book of Maps shall be substituted for all the Old Maps . The Book of Maps now are incorporated into and made a part of the Zoning Ordinance . 3 . The Executive Director of the Commission shall, to the best of his abilities, preserve and protect the Old Maps as they existed, and 4 . The Book of Maps as adopted and amended from time to time and as hereafter amended shall be maintained and available for public inspection at the office of the Commission. Section 2 : NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED: 1 . That Section 21-5 . Adoption of "Book of Maps" . be deleted in its entirety and replaced by the following: Sec. 21-5 . Adoption of "Book of Maps (a) The use, height, area and other designations pertaining to the districts in this chapter are set forth in and on the "Book of Maps" hereby designated as a "Book of Maps, " together with all amendments thereto, and the proper notations, references and other information shown thereto are hereby adopted and by this reference made a part of this chapter with the same force and effect as though described and set out in full . (b) Certified copies of the Book of Maps, as adopted and further amended, shall be filed with the City Clerk and City Building Commissioner. Copies of the Book of Maps shall be open to public inspection at all times during normal business hours . Section III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and legal publication as required by law.
