4 7`8 Friday SeD ember 3rd_ 1Q0q. The Board met,in regular session at 10 A. Me All members present. .Engineer reported grade on alley east of Mich*fan street from Monroe street to South street. Same approved. Lints ordered at Wayne & Eddy streets and LaPorte 8c Howard avenues. Robert H. Evans Co. ask permission to enclose a portion of the east side of Vistula avenue adjacent to the right-of-way of the Grand Trunk Western R. R. and also a space in,Howard Park, during the construction o-r' the Grand Trunk Western R. R. Co's bridge. across the St. Jos.River. IMPROVEMENT'RESOLUTION S0. 609. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indisna: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Asphalt - Macadam pavement on Howard avenue from Van Buren street to Michigan avenue. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "TOTE HOWARD AVENUE ASPHALT MACADAM PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according 6o the plans and speceif5.cati ons prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filedheewi.th. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 4th day of September and on the llth clay of September, 1909, in the South bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the'21st day of September, 1909, at 7:15 P.M. .A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law.
