Me All members present. <br />.Engineer reported grade on alley east of Mich*fan street from Monroe street <br />to South street. Same approved. <br />Lints ordered at Wayne & Eddy streets and LaPorte 8c Howard avenues. <br />Robert H. Evans Co. ask permission to enclose a portion of the east side of <br />Vistula avenue adjacent to the right-of-way of the Grand Trunk Western R. R. and also <br />a space in,Howard Park, during the construction o-r' the Grand Trunk Western R. R. Co's <br />bridge. across the St. Jos.River. <br />IMPROVEMENT'RESOLUTION S0. 609. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indisna: That an <br />improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Asphalt - <br />Macadam pavement on Howard avenue from Van Buren street to Michigan avenue. Said <br />improvement shall be known and designated as "TOTE HOWARD AVENUE ASPHALT MACADAM PAVEMENT <br />IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according 6o the plans and speceif5.cati ons <br />prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filedheewi.th. Notice of this resolution shall be <br />published on the 4th day of September and on the llth clay of September, 1909, in the <br />South bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its <br />office in the City Hall on the'21st day of September, 1909, at 7:15 P.M. <br />.A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the <br />property owner signs waiver required, as according to law.
