7 0 Tuesday August 31st, 1 The Board met in regular session at 10 A. 14. All members present. Engineer filed Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Grade, Curb-& Walk on Cherry street from Jefferson street to Division street; Cement sidewalks on Notre D€ne street from Wayne street to Division street; Pipe Sewer on Bartlett street from Michigan street to Lafayette street; Pipe Sewer on St. Peter street from Washington street to Jefferson street. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 593, 5g6, 591 & 592 respectively. Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for sip* consecutivedaysin the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the ist day of September, 1909, stating that tilis Board ,will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 21st day of September, 190n, at 7:15 P. M. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on thelst day of'September, 1909, in the :South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will give a hearing on theacceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 21st day of September, 1909, at 7:15 P. M. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION N0. 604. R- solver=' by the -Board of Public Works --of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Asphalt Macadam Pavement on the first Alley east of -Michigan street from Monboe street to South street. Said improvement shall be known and desi:.neted as "THE ALLEY EAST Or MICHIGAN STREET ASPHALT MACADAM PAVEMENT II4PROVEMENT" and shall be, constructed according to the plans and specificattions prepared by the City Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shy. 1 be published on the 1st -may of September and on the fsth day of September, 1909, in the South Bend Daily "Mines. This board will give a hearing on this resolution at its o"fice in the City Mall on the 21st day of September, 1909, at 7:15 P.I4. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Which said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. Adopted this 31st day of August, 1909. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows : Paving of Eddy street from LaSalle avenue to South Bend avenue with either Brick, Asphalt, Bitulithic or Creosoted Block. Said improvement shall be known and designa- ted as "THE EDDY STREET PAVING IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and speci-fications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, tiled herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be publishEd on the 1st day of September acid on the 9th day of September, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 21st day of September, 19093 at 7:15 P.
