R -66 Downtown Project, Ind. R -66. This property, Parcel 28 -12, was originally planned for acquisition but deleted when it was fotind to be standard. He is unable to sell and desires to move from town, while the property could be added to the Project. On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Rev. Williams this request for acquisition was approved. b Future Use of United States Post Office Building: FUTURE USE OF OLD In a l tter dated October 23, 1970, the Downtown South Bend POST OFFICE SITE, Council suggested the possibilities to the General Services IND. R -66 Administration for the use of our current Post Office Building which will be vacated with the completion of their new facility in the Ind. R -66 Project. The most favorable suggestion would be that of rehabilitation for use of all Federal Agency Offices. c Assistance to Model Cities Agency for Parks -in -the PARKS -IN -THE CITIES Cities Application: This letter dated November 2, 1970 appri- APPLICATION sed th s Department of the status of the Model Cities Parks - In -The Cities Application for the purpose of our beginning-re- location in the park area. Williams, Mr. Tidwell's resigna- tion w s accepted and placed on file with regrets. e Move of Woodworth Storage & Transfer, Inc.: In a CLAIM FOR RE- letter dated October 27, 1970, the Woodworth Storage & Trans - LOCATION PAY - fer Company, Inc., Parcel 23 -12 in the R -66 Project, requested MENT immediate processing of their relocation claim. Due to the nature of said business, Woodworth performed their own move, but it was not categorized as a self move because contents were not their own, but only in their legal custody, as a -4-
