Gentlemen: — The Portage Lark' Company hereby respectfully petitions your Board for permission to grade Woodward Avenue frorn, the North lime of Hudson Avenue to the South line of the right of way of the Michigan Central Railroad; said work, iWhen finished, to conform with the grade as established by the City Engineer. Hearing given on assessment Roll and fina�..P.estimate for Pipe Sewer on Niles Ave. fr Howard street to Corby street, under Improvement Resolution No. 550. No remonstrators appeared and no.remonstrances were riled. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed May llth.,19092 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls file May llth., 1909, and. the final estimate allowed May llth, 1909, should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board having under consideration the proposed construction of a Trunk Sewer on Meade, Huron & Olive streets under Improvement Resolution No. 551, it is hereby resolved, that notices be published on the 26th. day of May and on the 2nd. day of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A. X. on the 1$th shay of June, 1909. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Hearing given on Declaratory Resolution for Tarvia Macadam Pavement on Leland Ave. under Inprovement Resolution No. -992. Engineer filed estimated cost as follovgg: (name of street) (kind of improvement) (cost) LELAND TARVIA MACADA14 $14202.00 In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no rertonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said. improvements anti the same are hereby in all things ratified,confirned and approved. Resolved, that.notices be published on the 26th day of May and on the 2nd day of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10 A.
