Presi- <br />heets said they are bipartisan and they are appointed to represent <br />ad a sector of the community as possible. The Commissioners re <br />ted represent a broad section of the different phases of the com- <br />and have done an outstanding job. <br />Mrs. Curtis stated that a tremendous amount of diligence is adminis- <br />by the Commission, and this will be critical for the execution of <br />)wntown Urban Renewal Program. The Commission expends a great deal <br />;ponsibility and we are extremely.fortunate to have our present Com- <br />iners spend time with the staff to have proper communications with <br />lases of the community. <br />ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />Nominations were open for the following offices: <br />1. PRESIDENT <br />Mr. Nimtz nominated Mr. Byron W. Sheets, President of the <br />Board of.Trustees, seconded by Mr. Peacock, and the motion <br />was unanimously carried,by,all Trustees. <br />2. VICE PRESIDENT <br />As Mr. Roy B. Root, current Vice President, has been given <br />additional responsibility, Mrs. Curtis moved for nomination <br />of Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, Vice President of the Board of Trustees. <br />Mr. Peacock seconded this motion and approval was unanimous <br />by all Trustees. <br />3. SECRETARY <br />Mr. Peacock nominated Mrs. Curtis, Secretary of the Board <br />of Trustees, seconded by Mr. Nimtz,,and was unanimously: <br />carried by all Trustees. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />As there was no further business to discuss, a motion for adjourn- <br />s duly made by Mr. Nimtz, seconded by Mr. Peacock.
